Cultivate Connection Through Nature

Plant, learn, and grow closer through Family Gardening

A guided horticultural workshop where parents and children aged 3-6 explore nature together — building confidence, communication, and emotional awareness through planting and sensory play.

In busy family life, the moments that matter most are often the quietest ones.

Screen time is up, attention spans are shorter, and family schedules are packed. Yet what children truly need is simple, unhurried time together.

By participating in this screen-free space, you and your child can slow down, create together, and discover the joy of caring for nature.

This is a chance to create lasting memories and strengthen your connection through the joy of nurturing nature together.

Horticultural Therapist

I design nature-based sessions for parents and children where simple, hands-on activities with plants create space to slow down and reconnect. In a calm and structured setting, children learn to express themselves more openly while parents practice responding with patience and clarity. Over time, these shared moments of working side by side strengthen trust, confidence and everyday skills that carry home.

Strategic Programme Designer/Facilitator

I have a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Applied Gerontology. I bridge the gap between social science research and actionable wellness through strategic programme design that is evidence-based and goal driven, delivering measurable outcomes in the physical, cognitive and social domains. I believe nature is an underutilized tool with great potential to enhance human well-being. My role is to actualize this through intentional design.

Common Questions That You May Have

Here are some answers to help you feel more prepared and excited about the experience.

Does my child need prior gardening experience?

No prior gardening experience is necessary. Our workshop is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for beginners, ensuring a positive experience for both parents and children.

What if my child is shy or easily distracted?

Our facilitators are experienced in creating a supportive and engaging environment. Activities are designed to capture your child’s interest and encourage participation at their own pace.

Is the workshop messy?

While gardening can be a bit messy, we provide all necessary materials and guidance to keep things manageable. We encourage wearing comfortable clothing that can handle a little dirt.

What will we bring home from the workshop?

Each family will take home a mini plant that you and your child have cared for during the workshop. This allows you to continue nurturing your plant and the memories created together.

How is this different from an enrichment class?

Most enrichment classes drop your child off and pick them up. This workshop is designed for both of you. The developmental benefits are real and structured — but the experience feels like a special outing you took together, not a lesson you enrolled them in.
